The Student Communication Association (SCA) is designed to enable and support students interested in Communication by providing many opportunities for students to meet with business professionals and experts to expand their knowledge. SCA is devoted to fostering and promoting awareness of the opportunities the Communication department has to offer while allowing students involved in the field to learn how to get the most out of their degree.
SCA targets the professional advancement of students by recruiting guest speakers as well as taking a business trip each semester to either Houston, Dallas or Austin. By doing so, students are able to gain perspective and knowledge on the many avenues Communication offers.
